Justice Ministry to address the media on the human trafficking bill

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development invites the media to a press conference where Minister Jeff Radebe will address the media on The Prevention and Combating of Trafficking in Persons Bill. The bill will be tabled in Parliament on the 16 March 2010.
The bill provides for the prosecution of persons involved in trafficking and for appropriate sentences. The bill is aimed at preventing and combating trafficking in persons will also assist in the protection and assistance of victims of trafficking.
