Deputy Minister of Health on a fact-finding mission to inspect Limpopo’s state of readiness for 2010 FIFA World Cup

Following an active planning and preparation processes over the last three years, the Deputy Minister Dr Molefi Sefularo will visit Polokwane tomorrow to do a final inspection on their state of readiness for 2010 FIFA World Cup. Dates of visits to other eight provinces will be announce in due course.
The Polokwane visit is part of the day’s activities to officially open the Peter Mokaba Stadium. The Deputy Minister will be accompanied by the Limpopo MECs of Health and Sport.
The inspection has been organised as follows:
Deputy Minister and MECs briefing on the state of readiness
Venue: Department of Health and Social Development offices
Inspection of the Polokwane Hospital in Mankweng Complex
Venue: Visit the theatre, intensive care unit (ICU) and trauma unit
Inspection of the emergency medical services
Venue: Polokwane Hospital in Mankweng Complex
Inspection of the health facilities
Venue: Media and trauma centres, Peter Mokaba Stadium
