The Ministry of Finance invites all South Africans to send through their tips on what they would like to see in the country’s budget, and what they think government’s spending priorities should be.

Run throughout the year, the campaign ensures active participation in government programmes especially matters related to the economy. This is in line with government’s commitment to public participation and builds on the Tips for Trevor campaign which was launched in 2001.

Minister Gordhan also has a fan page on Facebook which is another avenue for South Africans to engage with him.
