Invitation to a media briefing
2 July 2009
Johannesburg: The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa invites you to the briefing session on the following:
* Final Digital Terrestrial Television Regulations, including the allocation of additional channels to the broadcasting services involved in the digital migration (SABC, E-TV and M-Net).
* Introduction of competition in the subscription television market (Pay DTT).
* The finalisation of the Broadcasting Frequency Plan and the licensing of Mobile Broadcasting Services (Mobile TV).
The briefing is scheduled as follows:
