MEC Ghishma Barry meets security agencies and transport stakeholders in preparation for the British Lions Tour and public viewing sites for Confederation Cup

As part of her 100 days programme, the Honourable MEC for Transport and Safety Ms Ghishma Barry will meet all security agencies and transport work stream stakeholders at the Department of Roads and Transport Conference Room, 6th Floor (Main Post Office) in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday 9 June 2009 at 9h00.

The meeting will address the following:
* South Africa Police Service readiness for the British Lion’s Tour
* The Confederations Cup public viewing sites
* The unveiling of the FIFA Confederations Cup road signs

At 12h00, MEC Barry will address the media at the 7th Floor of the same building and unveil the new road signs for the FIFA Confederations Cup signs leading to the public viewing sites.
