The department welcomes its new MEC

The department is committed in working together with her in realising its mission and vision.
With this huge responsibility that has been entrusted to her the department is committed to continue mitigating against social ills that continue to pose a serious threat to the lives of ordinary citizens.
The department will take guidance from the MEC in the fight for the betterment of our communities. We hope that the next five years will indeed give an impact to the realisation of our democratic gains.
