Media statement: status of the results capturing in Gauteng

* Total number of voting stations: 2 295
* Total number of results slips to capture: 4 590
* 2 764 result slips have been audited, representing 60.21%
* 2 240 have been audited, representing 48,80%
* 504 results have exceptions, representing 10,98%
* 1 618 result have been fully completed
* 1 389 036 votes have been fully processed for the provincial election
* 1 196577 votes have been fully processed for the national election
The final announcement of the Gauteng provincial result is estimated to be at 17h00 on 24 April 2009.
