Deputy President Baleka Mbete attend the launch of Blythdale Coastal Resort

Deputy President Baleka Mbete will on Wednesday, 1 April 2009, attend the launch of the Blythdale Coastal Resort at the New Guelderland Sugar Estates soccer field in the KwaZulu-Natal province, near Stanger.

The Blythdale Coastal Resort is project that seeks to integrate members of this community into the resort at large. Government together with stakeholders hope that project will generate about 10 000 permanent jobs, and a further 80 000 employment opportunities will be created through the building of the resort itself.

The event is held in celebration of a land claim resolution, where the community will be the new part-owner of the Blythdale Coastal Resort.
