Housing, Safety and Liaison MEC Thobile Mhlahlo hosts National Security Cluster ministers

Housing, Safety and Liaison MEC Thobile Mhlahlo will be hosting the visit by national ministers within the security cluster. The visit starts from Monday, 31 March until 1 April 2009.
The ministers include safety and security, justice and constitutional development, home affairs, correctional services and intelligence. The purpose of the visit is to asses the state of readiness of the security machinery for the forthcoming general elections and challenges within the security cluster.
The ministers will visit the Nelson Mandela Metro on Monday where they will meet with property owners, business organisations, foreign nationals, community policing forums (CPFs), the members of the community and taxi industry delegation.
The visit will be concluded in Butterworth on Wednesday meeting with taxi associations, foreign nationals, traditional and business leaders.
