North West Premier, Edna Molewa, has described the death of Moss Phakoe as a tragic loss of a loyal servant of the people of Rustenburg and North West.

Expressing shock and sadness at his tragic death, Molewa called on the people of the North West to remain calm. She remains confident that the law enforcement agencies of our country will leave no stone unturned in its efforts to bring perpetrators of this callous crime to justice.

Molewa conveyed her heartfelt condolences to Phakoe's family, friends and colleagues.

At the time of his death, Phakoe was a councillor in the Rustenburg local municipality.
