Home Affairs Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula visits Joe Slovo Informal Settlement in Cape Town

Home Affairs Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula will today, Wednesday, 11 March 2009, visit Joe Slovo Informal Settlement in Langa, Cape Town.
Her visit comes after a recent loss by community members of personal belongings including enabling documents like identity documents (IDs) and birth certificates in a fire outbreak.
She will also be urging those have applied for IDs in the past year to go and collect them at the offices where they applied.
