Minister Mapisa-Nqakula on identity document (ID) collection drive in Mamelodi

Home Affairs Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula will visit the Mamelodi community as part of the department’s ID collection drive to encourage people who applied for IDs in the past 12 months to come collect them from Home Affairs offices countrywide.
As part of the day’s events, Minister Mapisa-Nqakula will embark on a door-to-door ID delivery to highlight the importance of an ID and the need to collect from Home Affairs offices. She will also visit two service delivery points set up for the day to facilitate the collection of IDs.
