Gauteng MEC for Education Angie Motshekga to honour top achievers in Gauteng

The Gauteng MEC for Education Angie Motshekga will on 30 January 2009 host the Provincial Learner Awards. The purpose of this function is to acknowledge and honour the 2008 top achievers in the province and together celebrate with them the excellent and hard work that they have dedicated to their studies throughout their schooling career.
Gauteng obtained a 76,4 percent pass rate reaffirming its commitment to the provision of quality education in the province.
