Minister for Safety and Security Nathi Mthethwa will be the main speaker at the National Police Day celebrations at the KwaMashu stadium in KwaZulu-Natal tomorrow, Tuesday, 27 January. Amongst other high level participants will be representatives from the South African Police Service (SAPS) top management and the chairperson of the Community Police Forum Board.

Preceding the official programme at the stadium which entails a wreath-laying ceremony, the Minister will be interacting with the KwaMashu community, including stopping off at the taxi rank.
