Premier Ndebele to host Reconciliation and Healing Summit on Reconciliation Day

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sibusiso Ndebele will host the KwaZulu-Natal Reconciliation and Healing Summit in Pietermaritzburg on Reconciliation Day tomorrow, 16 December. The main aim of this multi-cultural seminar is to promote reconciliation and achieve social cohesion. The theme is: "One Province, One People, Different Cultures: Understanding the Past to Achieve Universal Reconciliation in KZN Today, Tomorrow, Forever."

Date: 16 December 2008 (Tuesday)
Time: 09h00
Venue: Hall 6, Royal Showgrounds, Pietermaritzburg
Representatives from various sectors in the province, including community-based organisations, non-governmental organisations, cultural organisations, academic institutions, the faith sector, business sector, traditional healers, provincial and local government as well as other organisations and individuals actively engaged in the promotion of peaceful living and reconciliation, have been invited to attend.
