Premier Ndebele to officially open the KwaZulu-Natal 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sibusiso Ndebele will tomorrow, Tuesday, 25 November 2008, deliver the keynote address at the official opening ceremony of the provincial 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign.

Details of the event are as follows:

Venue: Mgwempisi Sports Field, KwaCele, near Dududu in the Ugu, District
Time: 10h00

The campaign is a partnership between government, non-governmental organisations, civil society, faith based organisations, business, traditional leaders, state owned enterprises and the media to raise awareness about abuse of women and children. The campaign aims to mobilise all sectors of society to act together against abuse and to support the victims and survivors of abuse.
