The Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee of the Supreme Council for Sport in Africa's Zone Vl under twenty Youth Games, Deputy Minister Gert Oosthuizen invites members of the media to the launch of the Zone VI Games mascot and the theme song.

An update on South Africa's state of readiness to host the games will be provided.

The details are as follows:

Venue: Johannesburg Stadium Auditorium

The games will take place from 3 to 12 December 2008 in Tlokwe Municipality, North West province.
