The MEC urged learners to make full use of all support material that has been made available to assist them prepare for the examination. “Over and above the two sets of exemplar papers, learners must make sure that they use the following support material: Two sets of exemplars with memoranda, two sets of Study Mate and KwaZulu-Natal 12. The only secret for success is hard work,” said the MEC.
“Candidates should not panic; teachers and our officials are there to assist them. Learners are encouraged to use all the exemplar papers that were sent to them, including the last ones that were sent to schools this month. Learners can also go to district offices to get exemplars,” said the MEC.
The MEC has appealed to parents to give all the support they can to their children at this juncture, “We declare this period an examination period, where learners will be preparing for or writing examinations, therefore during this period, all the non-core activities are strictly prohibited at our schools,” said the MEC.
