Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mr Enver Surty meet the people of Mamelodi

The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Mr Enver Surty will host an imbizo at Mamelodi on Monday, 27 October 2008 at 09h00. The event will take place at the open site, Tsamaya road near Engen Garage, Mamelodi East.

At the same event the minister will turn the sod for the building of a new court that will be built soon in Mamelodi. This court will be able to provide civil and family services to the community in addition to the criminal services offered by the current court in Mamelodi West.

The Mamelodi court is one of the 24 branch courts countrywide that will be proclaimed as magisterial districts and fully fledged courts by the department. The minister will also utilise the opportunity to listen to community's views on how they are being serviced by the department. Officials from other departments in the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) cluster will also be present at the imbizo.
