Media statement and invitation: Sport attire distribution

The Member of Executive Council (MEC) for the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Mr Ace Magashule, will embark on a programme of distributing sport attire to various schools within the province.
This process forms part of the school sport mass participation programme of the department through which school sport is promoted and enhanced in community schools.
The distribution of sport attire will unfold as follows

Place: Ladybrand
The total cost of the sport attire to be distributed is to the tune of R1,4 million. The total number of schools involved is 90 schools that are currently involved in the school sport mass participation programme.
The distribution of the attire at the above places will take the form of a festival that will include the following sport activities fun run, soccer for boys and girls, netball rugby and so on.
