Health Department launches new identity
2 August 2008
Gauteng Health Member of Executive Council (MEC) Brian Hlongwa will launch a new identity that will serve as a guideline and road map for implementing communication campaigns across various programmes within the mandate of the department on Tuesday, 5 August 2008.
The identity is built on the department's four pillars of the Quality Healthcare Programme which encompasses the promotion of healthy lifestyles, the strengthening of existing services, delivery of quality health services and providing effective leadership and management.
Positioned as an anchor of all its health programmes and initiatives, the identity will be easily identifiable and associated with the Department and will build further on the promise of health for a better life.
