Monitoring and evaluation media briefings, Union Buildings, Pretoria

Government will hold cluster media briefings on the decisions taken at the recently held July Cabinet Lekgotla from 5 to 8 August 2008.
The purpose of the July Cabinet Lekgotla was to conduct a mid-year review of the implementation of government's Programme of Action (PoA) and to adopt a Medium Term Strategic Framework (MTSF).
The briefings will take place at the Union Buildings, Room 153 and Imbizo Media Centre, 120 Plein Street, Cape Town.
There will be a video link-up at all briefings.

11h00 to 12h30: Governance and Administration Cluster briefing chaired by Minister of Public Service and Administration, Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi.

Thursday, 7 August 2008
12h00 to 13h30: Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster briefing chaired by Minister of Safety and Security, Charles Nqakula.
Venue: Room 153, Union Buildings, Pretoria
NB: The Social, Economic and International Relations, Peace and Security (IRPS) Clusters are still to be confirmed.
