Premier Rasool appeals for public to help with relief effort

Premier Ebrahim Rasool will be visiting the southern Cape this afternoon to assess the situation regarding the xenophobia-related violence in that region of the province. He will hold a meeting with community leaders and non-governmental organisations in Mossel Bay and later address the Hessequa Municipality's Africa Day banquet.
Community Safety Member of Executive Council (MEC) Leonard Ramatlakane will also be receiving 3 000 blankets from a factory in Atlantis, 1 000 of which will be a donation and 2 000 purchased by the provincial government.
