Accreditation for G8 Summit

22 May 2008

South African President, Thabo Mbeki, supported by Foreign Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will attend the G-8 Summit in Hokkaido, Japan from 7 to 9 July 2008.

Media wanting to cover the Summit are requested to apply for accreditation at the following website: http://www.g8summit.go.jp.

Please note that the deadline for registration of media organisations and media personnel is 31 May 2008 and 20 June 2008 respectively. Further information can be obtained from the Summit website.

Kindly note visas are required for entry into Japan. Applications should be submitted to the Embassy of Japan at 259 Baines Street, Groenkloof in Pretoria.
