The National Stakeholder Summit on electricity

National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) would like to invite the media to the National Stakeholder Summit on Electricity which will take place as follows:
Date: 16 May 2008
Venue: Sandton Sun Hotel, Maroela South, Sandton, Gauteng
The Summit will be attended by representatives from government, labour, business and community to address the national electricity emergency that is facing the country. In terms of the programme for the Summit, the media will be allowed to attend the open session from 09h30 to 11h30 in the morning. From 11h30 to 16h00, the session will be closed to the media as delegates will be participating in five commissions which are: Pricing, Socio Economic Impacts, Savings Campaign, Management of Supply and the Role of Local Government.
The Summit will be followed by a media briefing at 16h15 about the outcomes and content of the Summit Declaration.
