Delegates conclude Nepad e-Schools Stakeholder Conference

African delegates at the New Partnership for Africa's Development (Nepad) e-Schools Stakeholders Conference will be concluding their discussions on the effective way of rolling-out of the e-Schools Initiative through the African continent.
The Nepad e-Africa Commission, in conjunction with the South African Government and other private sector sponsors, is hosting the conference at the Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, which started on the 15th and ends today.
The aim of the Nepad e-Schools Initiative is to harness information and communication technologies (ICTs) to improve the quality of teaching and learning in African primary and secondary schools, where Africans learners are capacitated with ICT skills that enable them to participate in the global information society and knowledge economy. Media is invited to attend a press conference.
