Premier E Molewa to meet with stakeholders

North West Premier Mme Edna Molewa will meet with different stakeholders from the Bojanala District Municipality and the Madibeng Local Municipality at an Imbizo to be held as follows:

Venue: White Hall (Opposite the Main Municipal Offices), Brits
Time: 09h00
MEC for Developmental Local Government and Housing, Howard Yawa, will be accompanying Premier Molewa as well as a host of leaders and senior officials from state-owned enterprises, sector departments, Department of Water Affairs and Forestry and the Department of Land Affairs.
Amongst those expected to interact with the Premier are over 250 representatives from ward committees, organised business, agriculture, community development workers and traditional leaders. This Imbizo is not open to members of the public, which means that not all business people in the area could attend, but strictly organised business.
It is at government events such as this Imbizo that focus will be on strengthening government systems to accelerate service delivery and further enhancing partnerships with the all sectors of our society. Imbizo has been widely acknowledged as an effective forum for enhancing dialogue and interaction between government and people. It provides an opportunity for government to communicate its programme of action and the progress being made. It promotes participation of the public in the programmes to improve their lives.
