Western Cape Premier pays tribute to Ronnie Morris

Ronnie Morris had two passions: journalism and the Cape. We remember the days when he fearlessly reported on the anti-apartheid struggle and on court cases involving cadres of the liberation movement. Even those involving ordinary citizens who were victims of apartheid - stand out as Ronnie's greatest contribution to journalism.
His passing caught us all by surprise, he had remained unsung all his life, our regrets would be that we expected him to go on and on and never took time to appreciate him publicly.
To his family we say that they should live with the memory of a father who had done his duty better than most.
