Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma to lead South African delegation to Africa-India Ministerial Meeting

South African Foreign Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, and Trade and Industry Minister, Mandisi Mpahlwa, will today, Monday, 7 April 2008 lead a senior South African government delegation to the Ministerial Meeting of the inaugural Africa-India Partnership Summit scheduled for later today.
The Ministerial session of the Africa-India Partnership Forum will deliberate upon and make recommendations to the Africa-India Heads of State and Government Summit, to which President Thabo Mbeki will lead the South African government delegation from Tuesday to Wednesday, 8 to 9 April 2008.
Ministers Dlamini Zuma and Mandisi Mpahlwa will join their counterparts from Tanzania, Algeria, Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Libya, Nigeria, Senegal and Zambia in considering a report from the Senior Officials' Meeting that concluded on Saturday, 5 April 2008.
The South African government delegation will participate in the Africa-India Partnership Summit within the context of strengthening Africa-India relations in particular, Africa-Asia relations in general and to consolidate South-South co-operation.
