KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Ina Cronjé and Education head Dr Cassius Lubisi sent their condolences to the family of Ayanda Buthelezi
1 February 2008
KwaZulu-Natal Education Member of the Executive Council (MEC) Ina Cronjé and Education head Dr Cassius Lubisi have sent their condolences to the family of Ayanda Buthelezi (Alston Primary) who lost her life in a collision between two vehicles on her way to school this morning, 1 February 2008. Our thoughts are also with the little one who was on her way to a crèche in Pietermaritzburg when she died. We pray that you will find the strength to get through this very sad time.
We wish our learners from Forest Hill Primary (8), Berg Street Primary (2), Alston Primary (2) and Open Gate (2) a speedy recovery. The Department will send counsellors to the school on Monday to support classmates and teachers.
