North West hosts mass prayer service led by Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane

The North West Provincial Government invites members of the media to attend and cover a mass prayer ceremony led by Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane of the Zion Christian Church.

The service, which is expected to be attended by thousands of worshipers from the South African Development Community (SADC) region, will take place as follows:

Date: Sunday, 30 September 2007
Venue: Mmabatho Stadium in Mafikeng
Time: 12h00

The mass prayer will be held within the context of supporting government's moral regeneration programme with special focus on women, children and the elderly. The event will be attended by North West Premier Edna Molewa, different MECs and many other government leaders.
