Sport and Recreation for South Africa wishes good luck to Springboks
7 September 2007
The battle lines have been drawn and our hopes are on only one team - the Springboks!
As the Springboks march onto the pitch on Sunday and days that follow, we have no doubt that they will do so with pride and knowledge that the whole country (South Africa) will be behind them all the way.
Despite being one of the favourites to win the World Cup, the Springboks' road to glory will not be easy and this much they know. All teams participating in the World Cup have something to offer. It is therefore encouraging to hear the coach saying that "the match against Samoa is just as important as any in the tournament".
The Minister, Rev. Makhenkesi Stofile and Deputy Minister, Mr Gert Oosthuizen, wish the Springboks good health and the best of luck throughout the tournament.
