President Thabo Mbeki will tomorrow, 31 August 2007, deliver a keynote address at the Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa (AsgiSA) and the Joint Initiative for Priority Skills Acquisition (Jipsa) thanksgiving dinner to be held at the Presidential Guest house in Pretoria.
The President will be accompanied by the Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials.
The event is in honour and appreciation of all stakeholders in the AsgiSA/ JIPSA Work Placement Programme. The programme was launched in December 2005, as one of the AsgiSA interventions to deal with the skills shortage within the economy.
