President Mbeki to attend National Day of Reconciliation celebrations at the Freedom Park Memorial

President Thabo Mbeki will, on 16 December 2006, attend Reconciliation Day celebrations at the Freedom Park in Salvokop, Tshwane.
The Freedom Park Trust is tasked with contributing to reconciliation and nation building in the country.
A memorial site known as Sikhumbuto, showcasing a wall engraved with names of those who died for humanity and freedom in South Africa will be introduced to the President and the nation tomorrow.
Members of the media are invited to attend.
