24 October 2006

The Gauteng Premier, Mbhazima Shilowa, and MECs will on Wednesday, 25 October 2006, visit communities as part of the Gauteng Imbizo campaign that forms part of National Imbizo Focus Week.

The Gauteng Imbizo gives provincial and local government leaders an opportunity to hear residents' concerns and suggestions as well as to expand on government's plans to develop their areas and the province as a whole.

Direct dialogue and feedback from communities enables government to streamline service delivery aimed at improving people's lives.
