Deputy Minister Shabangu to launch Northern Cape Youth Against Crime Action Campaign

The Honourable Deputy Minister for Safety and Security, Ms Susan Shabangu will be launching the Northern Cape Youth Against Crime Action Campaign in Galeshewe, on Friday, 23 June 2006. The launch of this campaign was prompted by the prevalence and the involvement of the youth in criminal activities.
The launch of this campaign, which is aimed at discouraging the youth from being involved in all kinds of antisocial behaviours, will be conducted at RC Eliot Hall in Galeshewe, Kimberley. This exercise will also be extended to Phatsimang College, Galeshewe on Saturday, 24 June 2006, where the Deputy Minister is expected to deliver a speech and interact with all relevant role players.
