Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka to launch learning programme

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will today, 1 June 2006, launch a learning programme aimed at supporting the Joint Initiative on Priority Skills Acquisition (JIPSA).

The initiative is a partnership between the Old Mutual Business School and the Presidency. Training will take place in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth and the life assuror will carry all the costs associated with the training components of the programme. Training will focus on Project Management and is aimed at 100 local government employees.
