Official memorial service for the late Minister Stella Sigcau

Members of the media are invited to attend the Official Memorial Service for the late Minister Stella Sigcau at St Albans Cathedral, Pretoria, on Friday, 12 May 2006.
Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will lead a delegation of Ministers and Senior Government officials.
Minister Sigcau passed away in hospital in Durban on Sunday, 7 May 2006.
In her ministerial roles, Minister Sigcau made a significant contribution towards advancing Government’s Reconstruction and Development Programme and the promotion of women and rural communities.
