Minister Balfour and Deputy Minister Loretta Jacobs to attend imbizo Ebaqulusini

As part of the national Imbizo Focus Week, which started today and ends on 13 April, the Minister of Correctional Services, Mr Ngconde Balfour, and his Deputy, Loretta Jacobs, will attend a community imbizo at the Abaqulusi Municipality.
The aim of the imbizo is to allow communities and members of the executive from all spheres of government to interact around local programmes of action to promote effective and speedy implementation of the Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa (AsgiSA) and other government programmes. AsgiSA is a set of interventions aimed at raising the country’s economic growth rate to six percent by 2014.
The imbizo will also be attended by his majesty, King Zwelithini who is expected to give an address as well as the Mayor of Abaqulusi Municipality.
