Health Deputy Minister, Mrs Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge, to engage with various KwaZulu-Natal Councillors and communities during the Imbizo Focus Week

The communities of Greater Kokstad, KwaSani and Buhlebezwe municipalities will get an opportunity to interact with the Deputy Minister of Health, Mrs Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge, and local leaders as part of government's programme to strengthen municipalities in the country.

The Deputy Minister has been deployed to hold Municipal Izimbizo in these areas with a view to assess progress made in delivering services to the people. She will also visit various projects that are aimed at improving lives of the people living in these municipalities.

These Izimbizo will intensify interaction of government and public to strengthen participatory and integrated governance for local delivery. The Deputy Minister will interact directly with councillors and the public around implementation of programmes that require partnerships from all spheres of government.
