President Thabo Mbeki to attend joint working group meeting, credentials and reconciliation day commemoration

1) 14 December 2004 (09:00): Joint Working Group Meeting

President Mbeki will attend a Joint Working Group Meeting with representatives of organized labour, business and Agri-SA at the Union Buildings, at 09:00.

Photo Opportunity: Media are invited for a photo opportunity at the beginning of the meeting (arrival time: 08:30) and a Door Stop (arrival time: 11:30) at the end of the meeting.

2) 14 December 2004 (14:30): Letters of Credence

The President will receive Letters of Credence from Heads of Missions Designate at the Presidential Guesthouse, Pretoria, at 14:30, namely:

* Mr Yahaya Bin Abdul Jabar - Federation of Malaysia
* Mr Phillip Victor Green - Australia
* Mr Viktor Christen - Swiss Confederation
* Romuald Szuniewick - Republic of Poland
* Mr Meo Ould Lebatt - Mauritania

3) 15 December 2004 (14:00): Letters of Credence

President Thabo Mbeki will receive Letters of Credence from Heads of Missions (Designate) at the Presidential Guesthouse, from the following countries:

* Mr Santosh Kumar - Republic of India
* Mr SM Bahia - Arab Democratic Republic of Saharawi
* Mr R Issombo - Republic of Congo
* Mr M Bencheikh - Algeria

4) 16 December 2004: Reconciliation Day

President Thabo Mbeki will join fellow South Africans to commemorate the day of Reconciliation at Freedom Park, in Salvokop, Pretoria at 10:00.
