GAUTENG OPENS YET ANOTHER MULTI-PURPOSE COMMUNITY CENTRE

29 September 2004

National Deputy Minister of Education, Enver Surty, will on Thursday join the Gauteng Provincial Government and Ekurhuleni Metro in launching the province’s fourteenth Multi-Purpose Community Centre (MPCC), in Thokoza.

The MPCC will help the community gain easy access to important government services such as social grants, home affairs services and other services required by the community.

The launch is part of the National Imbizo Focus Week and residents will be given an opportunity to engage their leaders on issues of service delivery in their areas.

Details for the launch are as follows:

Time: 9:30 for 10:00
Date: 30 September 2004
Venue: Thokoza MPCC, Thokoza Community Hall, Khumalo Street, Thokoza
