DEPUTY MINISTER SHABANGU AND MEC CACHALIA TO DO A WALK-ABOUT AT MOROKA POLICE PRECINCT

The Deputy Minister for Safety and Security Ms Susan Shabangu and MEC for Community Safety in Gauteng, Mr. Firoz Cachalia will do a walk-about at the Moroka Police Precinct in Soweto as part of the National Imbizo Focus Week. This includes White City, Central Western Jabavu, Moroka Dam Bridge, Rutegang Primary School, Tshebedisanong Primary School. The walk-about is meant to give an opportunity to communities to voice their concerns about crime in the area and service delivery rendered by the Moroka Police Station. This walkabout will also be used to publicise the amnesty period for handing over illegal firearms to the police as recently announced by the Minister of Safety and Security, Mr. Charles Nqakula.
