GOVERNMENT AND THE TAXI INDUSTRY ON THE VERGE A HISTORIC BREAKTHROUGH ON TRANSFORMATION OF THE TAXI INDUSTRY
You are invited to a ceremony where the Transport Minister, Mr Abdullah M Omar, and the Trade and Industry Minister, Mr Alec Erwin, will sign a memorandum of agreement with the leadership of the taxi industry, South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) on the implementation of the taxi recapitalisation programme on 8 October 2003.
The memorandum of agreement deals with frameworks and guidelines on the implementation of the programme and the relationship between Government and the taxi industry.
