DEPUTY PRESIDENT, MR JACOB ZUMA, VISITS LIMPOPO FOR IMBIZO FOCUS WEEK
"The tide has turned, build a people's contract for better South Africa". This is the theme for the Imbizo Focus Week and the Limpopo people will realise it when the Deputy President, Mr. Jacob Zuma visits the Province and addresses the communities on issues of concerns.
The Deputy President will be in the Province on the 3rd and 4th April.
The National Imbizo Focus Week starts on 31 March to the 6th April. During the period, the President, Ministers, Premiers and MECs join local leaders in the exchange of ideas with the communities.
Limpopo Government will kick-off the programme with the visit to Hluphekani Village on the 31st March 2003.
Premier of Limpopo, Adv. Ngoako Ramatlhodi will open Vaalwater Multi-Purpose Community Centre (MPCC) in Waterberg District on the 1st April.
The Cabinet will visit the community of Magona in Vhembe District on Vhembe District on the 2nd April.
Back to the Deputy president
The Deputy President will officially open Penge Bridge at Mafefe in Capricorn District on the 3rd of April at 10h00. On the same day, the Deputy President will go for an Imbizo at 14h00 at Mafefe.
On the following day, the Deputy President will visit the Mokopane Hospital Food Nutrition Scheme at 9h00. He will then proceeds to Hlogo ya Nku village for another Imbizo.
Rounding off the Imbizo programme, MEC for Safety, Security and Liaison, Dikeledi Magadzi will speak to farmers and farm workers on the 5th April at Ellisrus.
