HUMAN RIGHTS DAY CELEBRATIONS
Premier E.M Dipico will officiate at the occasion of the Human Rights Day celebrations event in Kimberley, at the RC Elliot Hall, Galeshewe, on March, 21 2003. The formal programme will start at 10am.
As we celebrate human rights day, we recognise the injustices of the past and honour those who suffered for justice and freedom in our land.
It is a day dedicated to entrench our human dignity, the achievement of equality and the advancement of human rights and freedoms.
Forming part of the celebrations will be the launching of a food security and nutrition programme that will provide immediate relief to poor households who cannot afford adequate and nutritious food due to poverty and rising food prizes.
