DEPUTY PRESIDENT ZUMA TO LAUNCH THE DIEPSLOOT MULTI-PURPOSE COMMUNITY CENTRE

To mark the end of the Sixteen Days of Activism on No Violence Against Women and Children campaign tomorrow, 10 December 2002, Deputy President Jacob Zuma will at 14h00, officially open the Diepsloot Multi-purpose Community Centre (MPCC).

Some of the services to be offered by the centre are municipal services such as housing applications. The centre will also offer services pertaining to justice (a mobile court) welfare (counselling), and safety and security.

The function is to be held at the Diepsloot Taxi Rank.
