DEPUTY PRESIDENT ZUMA TO OPEN A HISTORIC HOSPITAL

Deputy President Zuma will tomorrow, 22 November 2002, officially open Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Cato Manor, near Durban. The hospital is the first of its kind in Africa as it is fully computerised, says Professor Ronnie Green-Thompson, Superintendent-General for the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health.

It started functioning in June this year and it caters for the whole of KwaZulu-Natal, providing highly specialised central and tertiary care.

The media are invited to attend.
