GOVERNMENT LEADERS TO MEET VAAL RESIDENTS AS PART OF THE IMBIZO FOCUS WEEK
Gauteng Education MEC Ignatius Jacobs will visit the Sedibeng and Lesedi municipalities tomorrow (Friday, 11 October) as part of the Imbizo Focus Week, aimed at facilitating direct communication between government and the people.
Jacobs will be accompanied by Peter Skosana, Mayor of Sedibeng District Council, and Johnnie Thabane, Mayor of Lesedi Local Council. They will address learners at Ramolelle Combined School at Rietkiul Farm near Vanderbijlpark at 8am.
Premier Mbhazima Shilowa will join the team later for walkabouts at 1:30pm at Umbela Estate for a door-to-door campaign on registration of children for social grants. The team will then attend a public meeting at 5pm at the Endicort Hall in Vischkuil.
