GAUTENG IMBIZO FOCUS WEEK KICKS OFF IN CORONATIONVILLE
Social Development Minister Zola Skweyiya and Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa will lead MPs, MPLs, councillors, government officials and councillors on a door-to-door mobilisation for registration of child support grants as part of the national Imbizo Focus Week campaign starting today (Monday, 7 October) to Friday, 11 October.
Gauteng Social Services, Population Development MEC Angelina Motshekga and Joburg Mayor Amos Masondo will also be involved in the campaign for the registration of the grants.
The campaign starts 9am to noon in Coronationville, Slovo Park and Kathrada Park and will be followed by a public meeting at the Coronation Community Hall at 1pm to be addressed by the Minister and other government leaders taking part in today's programme.
